Pros

The office is nice and the work load is so minor you will just eat and relax with a view

Cons

Relevant for the TLV office and BIM group. While the interview process was quick, nice, with many smiles (although the team lead was lacking serious tech knowledge), I soon realized after starting there that it was all just a big fake show. literally my worst career decision. After stepping in I soon realized that there is no management, no clear product future or tasks to work on, and most of the effort is just to put on a show to the american managers. Other employees said that this is the best place to past the time and real managers are actually in the US and have no idea what really happens here. All the nice smiles during the interview from the HR and managers changed to just ignoring me and others and nobody cared that nothing is being done (work wise) and that everyone just faking it. Once I realized how it really works there, which was completely different(!) from what was presented during the interview, I started looking for a new place and left few months later. Thankfully. Unfortunately I read the reviews here only after I joined, it could have saved me a lot of time and efforts to avoid this rat hole!! Take my advice, don't do this to yourself.

Pros

The individual contributors, your peers you work with day in and day out are fantastic people! At the IC level, for the most part, it feels like everyone is in the fight together. The work/life balance is good depending on which business unit/team you're aligned with. The benefits are pretty solid, especially the 6 week sabbatical.

Cons

Autodesk moves at the pace of a snail, very slow to take action on anything. Selling is very difficult with all the undocumented approvals, processes, red tape and very few people are willing to actually help! Leadership doesn't care about the people their decisions impact. Feedback is rarely listened to and acted upon. Pay is terrible compared to competitors in this space. Autodesk has embraced a ton of change over the last few years with new marketing, sales and IT leadership and it shows. They are not shy in showing their desire to be the next Oracle at the expense of their people. They are constantly changing tools, processes, people, roles, you name it so you feel like you're under water constantly. Lipstick on a pig.
