Pros

A lot of PTO, that's it

Cons

Outsourced and laid off the majority of the commercial operations department. Majority of associates were considered interchangeable with whatever the lowest cost replacement was, (outsourcing to India/Genpact) no matter how much experience they had. Too full of extreme hubris to put any value on associates with many years of experience. Employees just considered lever pullers, copy and pasters, etc. There is zero effort given to career development or skill enhancement unless you force the issue yourself by applying for, interviewing for etc lateral moves and then hoping there might be an opening at a higher level you can apply for after waiting years . It was policy that you are responsible for your own career path 100% - so what is the point of staying there if you can advance by leaving? There is no pension, and those that had a legacy pension had it taken away. Salaries are low. Upper-mid level leadership is a slave to any cost cutting cliche buzzword nonsense that gets thrown their way from redisigning the work spaces to resemble an awful tightly packed call center (while pumping in white noise 24/7, imagine being in an airplane all day everyday), to forcing return to office by badge swipe monitoring. The employees have no input whatsoever, if you don't put on your fake smile and pretend you love everything you will not find yourself enjoying your tenure here.

Pros

There really aren't any. Incredibly toxic culture all the way down. BD used to be a great and supportive place to work but that is no more.

Cons

Very toxic culture. Management all the way down is either abusive or or flat out incompetent. We are told to essentially ignore our own code of conduct policies and ethics to the point where all qualified and competent performers have been run off by tyrant middle managers who can essentially do whatever they want or being saddled with the work of 3 people. You will not be valued here. The morale is at bottom and everyone is looking to leave the sinking ship.
