You were dutch and had IQ of a turnip, you had a reason to be happy: perfect combination to succeed. After all - coincidence? - there was no expats in management roles. Product quality mattered zero; a career path or motivation plans for good expat employees also nothing. When I and others joined we thought everybody minded their own business; later we discovered that it was different: employees were only numbers in spreadsheets.
