Pros

Great people, good culture, wonderful colleagues. Learned alot and made lasting friendships. Access to leadership used to be good., but culture changing. Salary and benefits are ok, but talent underutilized and very little opportunity for advancement.

Cons

Indecision and lack of leadership at SVP level and higher. No idea what is corporate strategy and too many make work projects that never go forward. Since it is a nice work environment, too easy to settle in and be rewarded for being an underachiever. If you don't mind being bored and constant mental masturbation exercises, work life balance is pretty good. Consequently company settles in a pattern of me too products and last to market Too much a tendency to leave people in the same role, and job titles do not effectively represent level of responsibility.

Pros

Better pay than other companies My team - full of hardworking and knowledgable individuals.

Cons

Leadership/Management - can be micromanaging at times and not a lot of guidance/resources being provided. Projects can change swiftly at Bayer, and most of the times there's no background context given. Work/life balance - asked to be "flexible" with schedule for last-minute requests, then criticized for having life/responsibilities outside of work. Also, these last minute requests reflect poor planning on management. Lack of team morale - seems like it's all work and not a lot of play. Burnout culture and not a lot of incentives to perform better.
