      Pros

      If you like large companies, it can be good. Like most large companies, the manager matters.

      Cons

      Little to no management oversight. So global that my manager's boss was in a different city and didn't have a clue what she was doing, nor that she did it poorly. Worked in an IT/tech area, which had no strategic plan at all. Every action was a reaction to the "request of the day."

      They provide a wealth of learning materials to further your career.

      Cons

      My experience was that upper management does not understand what those in lower level positions do, and they don't take advantage of experience and knowledge of those below them to make strategic decisions.
