Quick and straightforward. Nice hiring manager, very good experience. Although they did negotiate my salary but overall happy with the process. Just did an online one and we were there.

Hello all! I created this bowl because I am interested in controls. A little bit about myself… I have a total of 4 years experience in HVAC. I have my High Pressure Boiler Operator License, 1st Class Refrigeration License, and my EPA Universal. I’m currently a lead building engineer at CBRE. I recently received an offer from JCI for HVAC Truck Based Senior Controls Technician. They offered me what I make now. I’m curious… what is the growth potential in controls? How high can I go up the ladder?

Recently Received an offer to work for JCI (@JohnsonControls) to be a HVAC Truck Based Senior Controls Technician. Curious if it's worth the career change. I'm currently a Lead Building Engineer for CBRE. I have my High-Pressure Boiler Operator License, 1st Class Refrigeration License, EPA Universal, and CBRE Facility Manager FM Certification. The offer is the same amount that I make now. What is growth potential in controls? How far can I go? Is it a good career money-wise?

10-15 min screening call. First an application, 1 month later I got a telephone screening call. They send you a webinar link to tell you what expect. You can then book what time works for you and then they will call you and ask the questions below.

Call with recruiter then a zoom interview with the hiring manager. Not a lot of technicals at all and very "fit" based. Was fairly simple and took about 30 minutes.
