Pros

- You’ll leave with great stories for future interviews about what not to tolerate in a workplace. - If you enjoy watching nepotism in action, this is basically a masterclass. - Leaving this company will be the best decision you ever make.

Cons

- Toxic atmosphere: If you enjoy walking on eggshells and watching brokers bully employees without consequence, you'll love it here. Otherwise, prepare for daily anxiety. - Micromanagement: You can expect management to hover over your shoulder like a nosy ghost, questioning every breath you take while contributing zero solutions. - Abysmal pay: The compensation is so low it's almost insulting. You’ll make more at an entry-level retail job without the psychological damage. - Nepotism galore: Promotions and opportunities are reserved for friends and family of higher-ups, regardless of competence. Hard work gets you nowhere unless you share DNA with the boss. - Terrible management: The leadership team is disorganized, lacks vision, and thrives on drama and favoritism. Communication is nonexistent, and when it happens, it's condescending. - Discrimination -If you value your rights or basic human decency, steer clear.

Pros

Honestly? Not much. The vision insurance was decent, I guess. Truthfully though, there wasn't much.

Cons

Management's refusal to allow employees freedom. I routinely got praise from the client and hit the maximum score on my goals. If things weren't done "by the book", they were wrong. The health insurance was awful. Going to self-employment, one of the things that you hear is that you're going to pay a lot for health insurance. However, I'm actually paying LESS than when I worked for CBRE. When you work for CBRE, don't consider job security something that you're going to have. I saw two employees with 15+ years for the company get laid off, with zero severance and no option to transfer elsewhere, unless they wanted to uproot their families and move states for more work and a pay cut. This is the worst company that I've ever had the displeasure to work for. If you have literally any other option of employment, please consider doing that.
