Pros
Great men to work with on or around the trains. The pay isn't what you'd want it to be but does take of what you need it to so long as you remain working. No matter your background and views, as long as you know your business (work) you'll be good amongst your co-workers.
Cons
The worst management there is to mankind. Extremely racist without the bluntness of it. They are more engaged in setting you up to fire or suspend you than actually doing what it is necessary in running the company as it should be. There was one guy who was superintendent. He went from that to a Trainmaster then to Yardmaster. He's super terrible even at that job. If management has a vendetta against you, they'll do anything and everything, even illegal things, to ensure you no longer work there. The work environment and conditions force you to worry more about engaging with management than to focus on your duties.
