Pros

The offer letter was released and delivered promptly, which was appreciated. The initial induction sessions were well-organized and informative. Project allocation for lateral hires should not be an issue and is expected to be a smooth process once onboarded. Overall, I would recommend the organization to my friends, except for Infocions, as the campus experience there was disappointing. Apart from that aspect, the overall experience has been positive.

Cons

I have joined the organization only 14 days ago, so my feedback is based on my initial observations during this period. One area of concern is the Chennai campus infrastructure at Karapakkam, which felt underwhelming (The Mahindra City (M‑City) campus is comparatively better than the Karapakkam campus. However, there is still a need to expand and improve the canteen facilities to better accommodate employees), especially in comparison with my previous organization, Infosys, which has a significantly larger and more developed campus at Mahindra City. Additionally, prior to joining, I had discussions with HR regarding the project I would be allocated to, and I was informed about a specific account. However, after joining, I was placed on the bench and later asked to attend interviews for other accounts. This mismatch between the initial communication and actual allocation was somewhat disappointing. Apart from these initial challenges, the overall experience has been positive so far. I believe a more comprehensive and fair assessment can be made after completing one year with the organization, and I look forward to sharing more detailed feedback at that time.

Thank you for sharing your valuable feedback. We are pleased to hear that the offer letter was released and delivered promptly, and that your initial induction sessions were well-organized and informative. Providing a smooth pre-joining experience along with clear, structured onboarding is an important focus for us at Capgemini, and it is encouraging to know that your overall experience so far has been positive. We also appreciate your perspective that project allocation for lateral hires is expected to be a smooth process once fully onboarded, and we value your willingness to recommend the organization to others based on your initial experience. We also acknowledge that you have joined only 14 days ago and that your feedback reflects early observations during this period. In particular, we recognize your concerns regarding the Chennai campus infrastructure at Karapakkam, which felt underwhelming, and your comparison that the Mahindra City (M‑City) campus is relatively better while still requiring expansion and improvement of canteen facilities to accommodate employees more effectively. Additionally, we understand your disappointment regarding the mismatch between the project/account details shared during pre-joining discussions and the post-joining experience of being placed on the bench and then being asked to attend interviews for other accounts. We recognize how important alignment and transparency are in early-stage communication, as they directly impact confidence and expectations during the transition. Thank you once again for sharing your thoughts and for being a valued part of Capgemini. Your insights are valuable as we continue to evaluate and enhance infrastructure, facilities, and staffing communication to improve consistency and experience. Wishing you continued growth and success in your career journey ahead, and we look forward to hearing more detailed feedback as you complete more time with the organization.

Pros

Pretty flexible. It's cool if you get on a project with a good client, because honestly you will become like a low-class employee at that company who they all dont care about and expect you not to be around very long so if you can deal with that then you can try and have a good time with them.

Cons

Honestly can't believe the audacity and entitlement of the middle management at this place. For example, last year everybody got about 3% merit raises (not at all keeping up with inflation but still something). This year, they were working with the same pool of funds to work with for raises, but made a "business decision" to consolidate the raises to only management. The rest of us got nothing. And the TOLD us they kept everything for themselves. And in addition to that, they twisted the knife by COMPLAINING to the whole department on a department call that their bonuses weren't enough. Just tone-deaf and careless mostly.
