Pros

I work in sogeti inside capgemini. I dont know how this matters. But I find that too much politics in sogeti, I like the work-life balance of this company. For the first time in my life I was able to join a gym, due to flexible timings here. Good benefits, you wont be slaughtered for work. These guys get good projects automatically, but dont know how to handle them. For now I have got good projects in my domain so i am enjoying the work. But I wont stay here too long otherwise I will also become a dinosaur :P In short , if u want to grow technically u should not be here especially in Sogeti. If you want a mid-career break and spend more time with family, you can come here. If you just want to have fun, flirt with girls and if you are plain lazy who dosent have any direction in life, then you have reached seventh heaven!!!!

Cons

no process are followed. Most apps get rejected by client. In my project there are 5 managers and only 2 guys writing code. Problem here is everybody wants to be manager and have fun while pushing all work to junior programmers. Nobody wants to work hard. People here especially Mumbai M2 are like zombies. Everybody here has an attitude problem, they underestimate the pitfalls of a project and everything then blows up in their face (People think they can do the whole project but they cant even write a single line of code). Too much political games in Sogeti. Most of the managers are prehistoric dinosaurs who are here for so many years becoz they just dont have talent to get a job elsewhere. Instead of giving these managers appraisal, their salary should be cut AND BE GIVEN TO PROGRAMMERS!!!!

Pros

there are no pros for this company

Cons

I was laid off after spending several months on the bench, with "lack of available projects" cited as the reason. However, another consultant in the same role who was also without an active client engagement was retained. As a woman and racial minority, I could not ignore the disparity in how these decisions appeared to be made. Before my termination, I reported being recorded without my consent and raised concerns about conduct that I believed reflected implicit bias. I was referred to as "URM" instead of by my name or role, encouraged toward race based employee resource groups rather than meaningful career opportunities, and repeatedly advocated for fair project placement while on the bench. My employment ended shortly after I raised these concerns. Following my termination, I pursued the matter through the appropriate internal and legal channels. I provided documentation supporting my concerns and gave the company multiple opportunities to investigate and resolve the issues. Rather than meaningfully addressing the evidence or acknowledging the seriousness of the allegations, the company denied wrongdoing, offered what I viewed as a nominal severance, and declined to accept accountability. Employees deserve confidence that concerns about discrimination and retaliation will be investigated objectively and fairly. My experience left me with the opposite impression.
