I became a Capgemini Invent employee by acquisition. The acquisition process continues to be extremely mismanaged from all angles and departments. HR, finance, payroll, IT -- all somehow caught off guard even though they had many months to prepare to integrate employees. Wrong information given out left and right. Internal systems not working correctly have lead to delays in payroll and employees missing healthcare coverage, being locked out of vital systems, etc.
Rather than clean up inept business support departments, top level management chooses to send temper-tantrum mass emails to employees, chastising us at large for filing X paperwork late, submitting timecards late, etc. Any remaining industry-leading talent that may have existed at the acquired companies surely will soon be out the door; mass exodus seems to be already under way.
