Pros

Capital Group is an organization that cares about its associates. People are treated with dignity and respect. The benefits are amazing! There is a health and wellness plan in which an associate can get reimbursed up to $400 per year for things like gym memberships. The retirement plan is much more generous than any other employer I have come across. The people you work with are smart and focused. Rarely have I run into someone who does not follow-through on a commitment or task. The opportunities for growth are endless if you have the initiative to take them. Managers provide feedback quickly and in a constructive manner.

Cons

I cannot think of a downside. I have been very happy here and although the current environment is challenging, I still enjoy coming to work each day. I think that one thing some struggle with is that this company is not one for titles. they look at growth and development in terms of responsibilities and learning new skills. For those who are title driven this is probably not the right company for you.

Pros

The bonuses and CSRP of 15% as well as many benefits are unmatched. I enjoy many of my colleagues and have made life long friends.

Cons

It was a great place to work and many will continue to feel that way until they are affected like those of us in the Norfolk Virginia office. There is no loyalty from the company and people are replaced either by a “vision“ of technology that doesn’t yet even exist within the organization or by cheap labor “offshore“. I thought I would retire from here and now I find myself out of a job after over 20 years before the end of 2027.
