Pros

Money is only decent for a few months a year. You know your schedule well in advance, and switching days or shifts is simple. Benefits are decent. Comfortable clothes,.laid back atmosphere and no real pressure. No haggling with customers is nice. your own desk and office space is kind of nice.

Cons

Terrible hours., open until nine mon-sat, half the time you are there even later closing a deal. Open on weekends and holidays,.so kiss your family life goodbye, only one in six weekends off. Terrible coworkers, half of them are snakes who don't care about you or your money. Blatently hide things and lie about it. No integrity from about half the sales team. Terrible split policy. The pay is terrible. No hourly rate. 160 bucks per car, 100 if they buy a warranty, 50 if you buy a car, but not if they trade it in. If another sales person has one phone call with your customer they get half of everything. Management for the most part is unreliable, never around when you need them, and never back consultants up against others. But they can help close a deal when you need. Talib classes every day are a waste of time that you don't get paid for, same with mandatory meetings on your days off...no pay...drive 30 miles get zero. Return policy bites you in the ass all the time. System and pay structure make it impossible to support a family, go work for a traditional dealer.

Pros

Remote work, first 2 weeks of the 2 month training, offers sick time before PTO rolls in

Cons

Little to no worklife balance, toxic positivity (like when they called the meeting about taking away our bonuses “exciting news” and tried to gaslight us as to why this was a good thing), extreme micromanagement, listening to our headsets constantly without us knowing, AI rating our metrics, unrealistic expectations, you basically do 4 jobs in one (at Carvana, appraisals / selling, financial applications and documents / EPUs, sales and customer service were ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
