Pros

At some points it was a fun place to work.

Cons

In the business office, you do not get paid equal to what you do. You take all the money, process all the titles, do all the transfers with help from inventory, and taking care of all the signing and tendering of deals, and making sure the checks are funded, so Carmax gets paid. All that starting at 10 an hour. They also do not believe in giving full time, so they do not have to give benefits. Most of the positions are part time. the hours are not fixed, so if you work till close which is 10, its not always, its till the last deal is done. The business office is that last to leave. Work from other departments is constantly shifted to the business office. Basically, you do not get any respect, cause you do not make the money. Sales and Service does. If you want to get a job there avoid the business office.

Pros

Remote work, first 2 weeks of the 2 month training, offers sick time before PTO rolls in

Cons

Little to no worklife balance, toxic positivity (like when they called the meeting about taking away our bonuses “exciting news” and tried to gaslight us as to why this was a good thing), extreme micromanagement, listening to our headsets constantly without us knowing, AI rating our metrics, unrealistic expectations, you basically do 4 jobs in one (at Carvana, appraisals / selling, financial applications and documents / EPUs, sales and customer service were ALL DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS.
