Engaged Employer

Overall good, but depends on team and management - Associate CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield Employee Review

Pros

- Entry and mid-level employees are great, easy to work with, and kind. Everyone helps each other out. - Lots of events, community activities and ways to get involved. - Full work from home (if you're assigned it)

Cons

Hard to move within the company and get meaningful raises. The standard amount doesn't even cover inflation. Lots of politics with promotions and moving internally. Some teams are very overworked. People are leaving and they aren't replacing.

Pros

I have a supportive team, my leadership encourages work-life balance, the company culture is very pleasing to me, plenty of leadership presence and transparency about company happenings, and the employee benefits are phenomenal.

Cons

I genuinely don't have anything negative to say at this moment.

Pros

Ability to work from home.

Cons

Extremely low salary for 2026. Far too much work to stay afloat. Everyone is on PTO constantly which makes training/help almost impossible. Tenured employees are unavailable majority of the time and leave unfinished work on your plate to deal with.
