Pros

• Hour lunches • No point system for calling out/being late • Early days on Saturdays since the business closes at 3p • Pay is decent • Raises every 3 months. Stops at a year

Cons

• You are there from open to close ( 8:30a to 7:15pm.) every day. You work 5 days out the week. No weekends off except for Sunday • You only get two days off and it’s not consistent. Sundays will be one of your off days since the business is closed on Sundays, but then they’ll give you a Tuesday off or Wednesday. It will never be the same every week • Every month you have to do the store numbers with your colleagues that work in the store with you as well as the regional manager or district manager (sometimes both) • Depending on the store you apply to there will only be two-three other workers in the store. • Everyone is an “assistant store manager”, except for the store manager (there is one store manager per store and if you’re lucky you might end up at a location where the store manager actually helps you out with customers and phone calls instead of just sitting there) • They dont teach you everything in training. When numbers comes around you wont know what they are talking about even though they expect you to (they say they wont but they really do) • The only way to move up to store manager is if someone gets fired/quits • NO WORK LIFE BALANCE WHATSOEVER (they will tell you in the interview that you cannot go to school while working here because they need all of your time for the company)

Pros

Pay Schedule Trainings Team PTO

Cons

Not many cons overall. The culture may be different, but if you’re positive and have a growth mindset, you’ll do well. As with most management roles, work–life balance can be challenging at times.
