Pros

Possibly a stable employer with the right management

Cons

Heavily siloed, fiefdoms abound Mgmt imported from abroad communicating poorly, one way communicators, poor advocates for teams that they supposedly lead Promoting managers who lack communication skills or with severe personality issues, unfit for leading teams anywhere Ineptitude of regional management Rewarding loyal but poor managers, dismissing performant ones Mgmt forced to cause artificial attrition yearly, resorting to underhanded bullying practices, at the cost of employees Lower mgmt receiving cascaded performance reviews on individual staff from high above to meet the bell curve, much like a 90's company Behind the market Gamification, inspired by primary school forced by middle management onto confused staff Promoting a rat race between managers, and likely mobbing practices with non-assetive managers Performant managers forced off board, poor ones kept on Quality performers leaving in droves Mgmt forced to promote poorly skilled staff Senior management reward only their own clique Nearly impossible to get a promotion without being part of the inner circle, insular senior mgmt

Pros

- Opportunity for Mobility and career growth, cross functional collaboration, global organization - Amazing mentors, colleagues and collaborative mindset - Volunteer Culture

Cons

- Mobility can be challenging w/o a sponsor. - Depending on departments, fast moving and may impact work-life balance. - depending on the team, you might encounter micromanagers or teams that may be selective with mobility. Though inevitable in some instances, if you are aware of team dynamics and team culture, employee could mitigate or manage/avoid this risk.
