Pros

Most of the employees are very nice people. Great perks including lunch and learns, happy hours and book club. Very credible agency.

Cons

No one is happy working here. Incredibly understaffed, which causes everyone to have too much work for their own good. No work-life balance whatsoever. People work incredibly long hours and do not get recognized or rewarded for their hard work. It's upsetting because most of the employees are really great people but they are always stressed and unhappy. You have no say in the clients you work on and oftentimes get stuck working on accounts you do not enjoy. More junior level employees' tasks are admin-heavy.

Pros

C&W provides an environment that allows junior team members to reach up/take on things above their level, if they are interested in doing so. As long as they can show that they are capable of doing the work, a lot of trust and responsibility is placed on the junior team, which can lead to great opportunities (think AAEs traveling to Barcelona with their team or San Diego for medical meetings and getting lots of client interaction). Also, there is a focus on making sure the whole practice shares knowledge within and people are not siloed by teams. Culture is a priority for both the healthcare practice and the agency. There are tons of opportunities for ongoing training and continued learning, in addition to really fun parties and events. People are genuinely friends with each other and the environment is very supportive. Overall, throughout the agency and the healthcare practice there is a commitment to delivering the best/most innovative work for clients, which leads to really cool campaigns and activities.

Cons

The healthcare practice has experienced some major growth in the past several years, which has lead to some growing pains. The senior team is definitely invested in making sure that these don't impact staff, but there is only so much they can do. With such significant growth comes under staffing issues, which can put a strain on staff. At times, the environment can seem a bit political, although generally this isn't something I think most folks feel day-to-day.
