Pros

You'll be challenged; in the worst sense.

Cons

First and foremost, the trainer has favorites, and she also treats others like garbage. Be prepared to be ridiculed GRU is a terrible department. It may actually be better in other departments, or easy to stay for 10+ years when you aren't being scrutinized by 6+ bosses, or maybe where you're actually recognized by the CEO, but you are not valued in GRU. You're there for coverage, and to serve a bottom line. Any one of these reviews that tells you otherwise was not actually written by someone in the department, or works their currently. A good employer pays an appropriate sum for the job worked, has mentorship available, is actively involved, offers APPRECIATION & VALUE to employees, empowers their employees, or maybe even trusts them and these are simply not things you'll find here. The company runs on meeting the needs of its clients, but fails in meeting the needs of its own employees. For an Employee Assistance Program, this is absolutely ridiculous

Pros

Very stable employer with many opportunities for learning and growth. Ability to work fully-remote and employer provides the necessary technology for you. Full benefits and perks provided at service anniversaries.

Cons

Like most employer now PTO is limited to start, but is more generous later.

Pros

I have spent many years in many different organizations. I can honestly say that I feel more at home at Compsych than anywhere else in my career. The work brings me into contact with peers who are extremely helpful and kind. Upper levels of management are approachable and interested in suggestions and the success of the employees. I am very happy to be spending my years before retirement in such an environment.

Cons

Contact with the public, of course, has drawbacks. There can be people who are very, very difficult to deal with. I am trying to learn how to let it go and move on.
