Pros
Working from home was nice. The coworkers made it a very friendly and helpful environment. They were extremely nice people and so were all the team leads. The trainers also made the job appear fun and they were good guides.
Cons
You were expected to take a certain number of calls per day and get through them as fast as possible. This is difficult when you’re trying to comfort multiple clients who are escalated. The anxiety waking up every morning and the repetition of saying the same lines over and over really made the job not worth it. When working full time, you could only take 5-10 minute breaks. Any 15 minute breaks you had to clock in and out for and make up at the end of your shift. We did get an hour of lunch which was nice but I always thought companies had to allow for 15 minute breaks. Pay was extremely low ($16 an hour for having a Bachelor’s degree) and you only get raises once a year based on your call intake performance. Nothing will make up for being yelled at by counselors and regular clients- it made the job intimidating and scary, quite honestly. ComPsych is a great company, I would just never recommend this position to anyone.
