Pros

I enjoyed working for this company. Management was probably the best management I have had in any of my careers (At least at my branch they were). They cared about their employees and went above and beyond for us. Benefits were good I didn't get to really use mine since I wasn't there long enough ( vacation time, some insurance benefits, etc.) The training was very good as well. I was very confident doing my job the first day on my own.

Cons

The reason I left which was the pay. If you want a career there, you have to stay there for a while...I couldn't see myself waiting around too long to work my way up with the pay I was getting.

Pros

None - the pay was well below what I was used to making.

Cons

You can include that if it’s true, but it’s safest to present it as your personal experience rather than implying a medical conclusion or making broader claims about the company. Here’s a revised version: Commerce Bank was the worst place I’ve ever worked. I came into the role with years of experience, confidence, and a strong work ethic, but I left questioning my abilities in a way I never had before. The management style I experienced was disparaging, overly critical, and unsupportive. Rather than feeling coached or developed, I felt constantly torn down. The work environment became so toxic for me that I ultimately sought therapy to cope with the anxiety I experienced surrounding work. My anxiety became severe enough that my healthcare provider increased my medication. No job should have that kind of impact on someone’s mental well-being. I recognize that others may have different experiences, but mine was one of the most damaging professional experiences of my career. I would encourage prospective employees to carefully evaluate the leadership and management culture before accepting a position, as it can make all the difference. This version clearly states your personal experience (“for me,” “I experienced”) without asserting that the company universally causes those outcomes. That makes the review both compelling and more defensible.
