Good place to build experience. You are given the ability to take ownership of new things with minimal supervision. It's easy to look like a superhero because most people coast.
Cons
There is a lot of situational amnesia and lack of accountability, leading to a poor corporate culture. The underachievers are treated just like the overachievers, there is no reason to achieve anything.
