    Decent benefits, co-insurance and copay waived at any medical procedure done at a CHS hospital

    Cons

    Raises are skimpy, and do not even keep up with cost of living.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your IT workers better, or they will continue to jump ship

    Friendly people to work with

    Hard time getting material to work with, low raises if any. Long hours during winter for snow removal, hours cut during the summer

    Advice to Management

    One rule of management I have always liked is a happy employee is a productive employee. I think this is a lesson that needs to be learned. Many look down on the support staff and they should not do this. They are the ones who keep the place running, and giving them the materials to work with to accomplish their job is mandatory. They cant keep a place running with bubble gum and duct tape. Give them tools and give them the means to accomplish their jobs.

    Cons

    Senior leadership needs to reevaluate their stance on how they treat employees. They have unrealistic goals for the bonus structure and generally do not care for their employees.

    Advice to Management

    Communicate more with employees. Be as transparent as possible with changes that will affect the company and the employees. Keep the employees informed with new processes coming down the lane instead of once they are in effect. Actually acknowledge your employees when passing in the hall. The overall moral of the company has taken a turn for the worse, and I am concerned for the wellbeing of the companies longevity for future growth.

    The only con I have is regret I left the company.

    Employees very friendly. most are very easy to work with.

    Cons

    Lack of direction, upper mgt. does not respect employees. A big company that's still thinks it a "mom and Pop" shop.

    Advice to Management

    Catch up to 20th centryl, Utilize available technology. Listen to you employess.

    Pros

    I can't complain about the pay or paid holidays. Bonuses if we meet goals for the quarters. The hours are nice.

    Cons

    We have to work some long hours or extra days, depending how busy we are. Also some weekends are required.

    More opportunities. Increase wages.
