Pros

When I first applied for this company it was supposed to be temporary to earn some extra money for going back to school. As wel, from the negative reviews I'd read on other job rating sites I was hesitant about even coming for the interview. Now here we are almost 7 years later and I have no plans to go anywhere and have finally found the career and position I will take to retirement. The workspace and facilities are clean, well maintained and comfortable. The opportunities for advancement are numerous and most of our upper management started out as entry level advisors. The pay, at least in my department is pretty amazing and comparable with other similar jobs. The hours, especially since we went to 4 day work weeks for the most part have been great allowing for excellent work life balance. There is constant coaching, training and assistance to keep you at the top of your game with access to information / materials should you need a refresher always at your fingertips. The benefits are decent, plus the retirement / stock optiions aren't bad.

Cons

This is a 24 / 7 / 365 line of work and your shift hours / days off can change drastically every 3 months depending on where you are on the seniority list. This can be difficult for some to work with. There is some interpersonal drama that happens on the call floor fairly regularly that I feel management could do a better job at getting a handle on.

Pros

Great Teamwork within the company Training was efficient Loved working with a diverse population The point system for absences was decent There were incentives around Christmas time and it was fun and engaging You were able to question your QA and could change the outcome if they missed something

Cons

The companies benefits were expensive If there were issues with your internet you would have to take a point even though beyond your control The surveys were from customers and sometimes you can’t make all customers happy and it was added into your QA which you have no control over The shift bidding every 3 months made things stressful, especially when you couldn’t work that schedule given It was difficult to schedule off for holidays and sometimes had no choice but to work nearly all of them because they don’t have holidays off
