Pros

I heard back relatively fast. The staff is very encouraging. Being remote was a bonus.

Cons

The pay per hour ($15) does not supplement the economy and most importantly the work load. They are very strict and I was fired from not knowing protocol within 2 weeks of working for them. For transparency I was let go for telling a customer I had to reach out to my manager to see if I should escalate the call to avoid getting docked for call avoidance and when my call was played back I was let go for that error. I’m glad I was as it was very intense for the pay and I found another job, thankfully. They are very unorganized. I was hired and then ghosted. A month later they “hired” me again and actually proceeded with the process that time. Then when I was fired I was put on unpaid leave for 5 days which turned out to be a month and then I was finally emailed that I had been terminated.

Pros

Paid on time, provided equipment, decent benefits from day one, nice co-workers

Cons

Sweatshop mentality of the supervisors, threats of demotion/termination for medical leave, random layoffs when calls didn't justify hours, with those same hours shifted to supervisors to keep them active. Unable to print paystubs, had to request everything through a supervisor, and provide copious amounts of private information to have the request honored. Corrosive environment - I left as soon as I got another offer, gave 24 hours notice (and I've never, ever done that before). Unless you're on the verge of homelessness or starvation, avoid at all costs.
