Pros

If you work in office you have access to the in house cafeteria and collaborate with those you sit around. I personally have been blessed with a great experience, but I know it's not everyone's reality. I attribute my positive experience to involved and supportive upper management as well as a flexible and unique position that allows me to take ownership of my own tasks without worrying about "performance" and constant pressure to meet deadlines.

Cons

Your experience is widely shaped by who your leadership is and the cliques that have been formed. You may like the task, but leadership can make it feel as if you'll never meet expectations despite you busting your butt and metrics to prove you're exceeding expectations. HR also does a decent job of gaslighting and gatekeeping any/all information regarding wages and compensation. Their approach is more of a "one size will need to fit all" despite the fact that so many positions have countless variables that can't be held against individuals, yet they enforce these "bonus structures" that essentially encourages people to cut corners and do shoddy work just so we can make a livable wage. They in recent months have also been more interested in outsourcing tasks that has lead to a recent layoff of a department without providing alternate positions for them to apply for - rather they left it up to the employee to find something else, yet the open available positions weren't in abundance to accommodate this layoff. They are more interested in the capital gain, bending over backwards for clients and idolizing the account managers while the rest of us are continually harassed by said account managers to "prioritize" their request because their request is for "the most important client to Conservice". The higher you are in the company, the less in touch with reality you are and just expect everyone else to do what you want just cause "that's what's best for us and the client" despite the request being the absolute opposite of our policies and procedures.

Pros

Benefits (Paid Time Off, Healthcare Benefits), coworkers.

Cons

Pay, hoops needed to jump through to make positive changes, in office work (distractions) when majority of team is remote. It’s expected to drive within 30 miles (30 minutes in my case) of the office to work a full shift with no flexibility. If I need to make adjustments with my schedule for my family’s sake, I’m expected to drive 30 minutes home to deal with those situations, then drive 30 minutes back into office to finish my schedule or else I have to use PTO or 1/20 of my work from anywhere days. It’s not even half way though the year and I’ve had to use 10 work from anywhere days to be able to work at home to deal with family needs and situations. This company is turning into a corporate America company that doesn’t care about employees and makes us choose between family and our job with no flexibility of making things up at home. I miss when Dave was in charge! Life was so much better back then! Profit sharing, dine with Dave, FLEXIBILITY!
