Pros
Your pay check will be on time. You have a somewhat reputable name on the resume. You'll be exposed to many of the world's decision makers. You'll earn points on flights and hotels. The horizontal views of markets are helpful to orient at times.
Cons
This place will atrophy your skills. To say it needs an operational overhaul is an understatement. It is not the future. You'll be working unprecedented hours mainly to compensate for their compounded systemic inefficiencies. Imagine having to coordinate through teams of people dedicated to booking time or edit a calendar invitation instead of doing it directly multiplied by the # of stakeholders you're engaging with in 2026? There's a clear age bracketing of leadership, those who are tech savvy have the least power and voice. There are inadequate feedback loops, if any, asking the wrong questions-- good luck if you like improving things, you will be faced with "this is how it is," "this is a machine of the status quo." Benefits are anemic, trainings are from the 2010s at best. Much of what you work on is not disclosed until you arrive, it would likely turn away many. Truly there are MANY more options for work out there.
