Pros
Wonderful brands if a little ubiquitous, good bonus, relaxed atmosphere.
Cons
Balancing work and life can be a challenge, results driven culture that is confused on how to reward achievement. Progression depends on contact making and ability to say the right things to the right people rather than exploiting genuine talent. Business rarely listens to employees and seems to repeat mistakes. The culture of the celebrity leadership is over present and annoying. Salary growth is pretty poor and based on rather faceless HR decisions about benchmarking with actually no evidence to support their assessment. If you arrive at the top of the pay banding for current grade, salary growth unlikely unless you move role, which is limited by proximity to London and who you know. On the surface, Strong values, but look deep enough, and more a case of lip service than any genuine ambition to adhere. Needs a huge overhaul in management will long terms ambitions rather than yearly reaction to growth and profit issues.
