      Pros

      The executives really make an effort to connect with everyone in the company with company meetings (twice a year) to discuss roadmaps and what worked and didn't worked in the past 6 months. They help share the successes & new development between teams by holding trade shows. There are numerous events for team building at HQ and outside. Edmunds made a very conscious effort to make it a best place to work and it shows. I've really enjoyed working with everyone in my team.

      Cons

      The company culture was great but like all companies there are a few managers that don't champion for their team members then you might not develop your career as needed. Those are the groups with higher turnover.

We hope our new approach to “performance management”, Fuel Your Potential, will help alleviate an employee feeling that they have reached a career plateau. With the employee taking the driver’s seat to navigate their career path, conversations with their manager will revolve around ambitions and action plans, as opposed to reflecting on past behavior. Learning and Development is also focused on training managers as well - helping them to learn more effective means of communication and feedback.

      My experience here has been exceptional. The company offers a fantastic work-life balance, a supportive culture, and generous perks, all within a fully remote setup. The team is genuinely caring, and I've found ample opportunities for growth thanks to the ability to rotate teams. I initially planned to stay for a copule years before moving to a big tech company, but I've been so impressed that I've been here for many years and plan to stay longer.

      Cons

      Since the company operates on a nearly full-remote model, there are fewer opportunities for in-person socialization; however, the option to work from the office is always available for those who want to connect with colleagues. While the compensation is competitive and by no means low, it is important to note that it is less than what's offered by major tech companies, and no stock options are included as part of the compensation package.
