Pros

Quite open and transparent communications across the globe can facilitate internal moves if you are in sales and marketing. The operations empire is strongly hierarchical with rigorous rules of engagement that gives job security but limits people's excitement and job mobility

Cons

The whole global enterprise is in continuous cycles of survival from crisis-led cost reductions to growth uptakes with uncontrolled hirings. That is internally rumoured to be because of excessive focus to shareholder values and has distracted sone good mid-managers. Recent addition of Pentair is again rumoured to introduce the leakage in talents as the new acquisition is highly unionised with retention plans in place.
