      Pros

      - Perks and benefits are at the top of the market - Exposure to GCP (Google cloud) which is unusual since the majority of companies use Aws - Focus on testing and security - Decent and up to date tech stack

      Cons

      - 2 waves of layoffs announced in just 4 months means that they are getting rid of the Dublin office eventually - extreme bureaucracy to do some simple stuff - in some aspects they are obsessed with the security which may impact the speed of the releases - Firing people after breaking records of revenue shows how greedy the company is

      My direct manager. Comp plan if you’re lucky enough to find several whale clients, and if you’re lucky, the commission is approved.

      Cons

      There are a lot. First, office politics. Equifax expects employees to be very corporate and robotic. Metrics metrics metrics. 100% focused on revenue, not customers. Metrics, metrics, metrics. PIP overuse. Even when you’re 150% to yearly plan 6mo in, they expect 300%. Make sure to keep receipts. Senior management will find the most ridiculous ways to push reps out, continently right before a huge payout of a very delayed commission plan. (Sell something in Jan 2025, you will only get a fraction of commission until June 26). That’s if the exception committee approves payout (which never happens). If you sell a big deal, don’t expect to get paid 100% of what the plan says.
