Pros

I wish I could find any.

Cons

A parody of a corporate. Work results are being measured by how much time you spent in office (on assigned seats and assigned days, as in a literal after school club for toddlers; only thing missing is an embroidery class to sew your initials onto your jacket) and quantity, quality is a foreign concept to the managers who are so out of touch and incapable, it's sometimes impressive to see. Floor managers are mostly kinder garden teachers at it's best, with little knowledge of the work, field, market or any capability of leading people. Resulting in managers walking around floors and sneaking on where people are and if they god forbid didn't come or leave 5 minutes later or earlier, as they have literally nothing better to do or say. Time management I have no words to describe rather than a joke to everyone involved, as all meetings starts few minutes late, due to poor time management of the leadership, resulting in sending out work emails and little "role-play requests" /what the refer to as training, as that is another department lacking/ on the weekends, as example Sundays at 12.00am. I would rather defecate in my hands and clap than ever sign the contract again, or yet worse, refer someone to work here. If you are being hunted by a recruiter, or considering to apply for any position there, run as fast as you can. Even though the work offer are presented as account management (interview doesn't correspond to the actual workflow whatsoever), THIS IS A CALL CENTER, where work is measured by the lengths of calls and not quality of the job. Horrendous working practices, workflow in extremely toxic and hostile working environment. Only bearable part of the work are all the depressed and demotivated employees, who has been tricked into accepting the offer. If you speak up, you will be punished or threatened with terminating the contract, both in low minion roles and mid-management. No career growth, no career development or learning opportunities; no possibilities to increase your salary to match the market rate, as publicly explained by the director that Expedia is in a debt since Covid and employees should be glad to even have a job, as the unemployment rate in USA raiser (completely irrelevant to European standarts).

Pros

Good pay, supportive manager, and genuinely pleasant colleagues.

Cons

Frequent reorgs and shifting strategic direction made it difficult to build momentum or plan long‑term. Over time, contractor roles became increasingly narrow and production‑focused, which limited opportunities for meaningful skill development. Responsibilities that originally included project management were reduced to primarily email production work. There’s also a broader corporate pattern where work is expected to be completed exactly as written, with little room for judgment or improvement. Even small, quick optimizations can lead to pushback rather than appreciation, creating an environment where going “above and beyond” requires multiple layers of approval — which defeats the purpose of being proactive in the first place. Finally, there’s an in‑office expectation (less strict than for full‑time employees, but still present) for work that can be done entirely remotely. This tends to benefit highly social personalities, but for those who prefer focused, independent work, it feels unnecessary. Social dynamics also play a noticeable role; if you’re not immediately well‑liked or you make a single early mistake, it can create a self‑fulfilling perception that’s difficult to overcome.
