Pros

Some of the best reason to work with FIS are the following; The PAY is competitive and fair. The BENEFITS are good. The OPPORTUNITY to learn and grow are abundant. The PEOPLE are amazing and fun; you get to know and become friends with many. FIS is growing and therefor there are many PROMOTIONS. If you like to travel, you can become part of a team that will do so. There are many PATHS of ESCALATION. FIS is constantly REFINING ITSELF. If you work long hard hours, which is a frequent occurrence, you will see COMPENSATION DAYS - (free PTO, so to speak). The company understands family needs and will allow the occasional work-from-home day.

Cons

Some challenges of working for FIS include the following: Frequently operates with a skeleton crew, meaning the resources are sparse and often times folks are overworked and under appreciated. Employees will do 2-3 other's job responsibilities to cover the lack of resources. The amount of turn over is high, creating a young and under-experienced team. Certain positions are putting in 10-12 hours very frequently. Work-life balance can be a struggle for those you cannot tell management "no". There are a high number of dissatisfied customers, mainly because promises to them aren't being kept and SLA's are not being met; this might be directly related to lack of resources and under-experienced crews.
