Pros

Nothing It has become a very toxic organization

Cons

I want to call out the sheer hypocrisy in how FIS handles its employees during internal restructuring. While many of us were told our roles are being impacted and we must find a new job in 28 days, the same company is actively hiring for similar roles in other locations even roles that match our exact skills and experience. We weren’t given a chance to transition internally. We were shown the door while external hiring continued as usual. This isn’t restructuring, it’s poor workforce planning, internal politics, and a complete disregard for employee well-being. To job seekers: BEWARE. Don't fall for the illusion of stability or their “employee-first” narrative. What you see in their branding and what actually happens on the inside are two completely different stories. FIS talks about values, but in moments like this, they’ve shown zero accountability, zero empathy, and zero transparency. If you’re about to join FIS, do your research. Don’t trust the pretty picture, many of us believed it too, until we were treated like disposable resources.

Pros

Most colleagues are well intentioned, but stretched beyond the max.

Cons

After filing for FMLA, my “leader” encouraged me not to involve HR in the future. The whole point of FMLA is job protection. Him making this suggestion, at best, seems highly unethical and potentially illegal. Some leaders are good with people. Others are more techno sound. The ones that can effectively do both are let go. It makes no sense and the company offers little transparency.
