Colleagues are helpful, opportunities to work with some smart people depending on where you work.
Cons
Fragile egos of management, too many managers in IT who have no real technical understanding. This has become the bane of a career in engineering at Fifth Third. Diversity is a joke, very little diversity in senior management.
