No recognition from supervisors above immediate manager level. Commission structure is unfair - Sales Associate Finish Line Employee Review

Pros

Good relationships can be built among immediate managers/AMs, discount 30%, commission can pay off during peak seasons in a larger store. Would recommend for a first job, but only that.

Cons

Hourly rate falls to minimum wage if commission amount is too low, district managers could not care less about anything other than metrics and sales goals. As a PT employee for over 5 years my hourly wage has not increased by more than a dollar after being recognized for sales awards on a local and regional level.

Job security - they run very lean meaning not much bloat or room for cuts

Cons

Leadership needs refreshed, people have been there too long and stuck in there ways
