Great exposure and support, but low pay for night shifts - Senior Associate Firstsource Solutions Employee Review

Pros

Firstsource is honestly a solid place to work, especially because it gives you great exposure to complex global processes that look really good on a resume. The environment is very structured and metrics-driven, so you always know exactly where you stand, and the teams and immediate managers are usually super supportive. Plus, having the option to work from home is a massive perk for balancing your daily routine.

Cons

Firstsource has some major downsides when it comes to compensation and hours. Expecting us to maintain 8.30 hours of solid productivity is one thing, but forcing us to work extra off-hours without even getting paid for that overtime makes no sense. On top of that, the night shift allowance is honestly not enough getting paid just ₹75 per day is not enough to justify the toll it takes on your health and routine. For a 5:00 PM to 2:30 AM shift, that allowance really needs to be increased to at least ₹250 a day to be fair.

Pros

Remote, Company provides equipment, No Weekends. Gain your experience and move on!

Cons

People with higher education do not succeed with this company. Peanut shells for pay (not the whole peanut) with expensive “benefits”. Very much ran on favoritism. Some leaders micro manage to the point of not wanting to clock in to a remote position, yet take zero initiative in training you at any time during your onboarding. Equipment is subpar. Beware of the HIPAA violations!!!!!
