I have been working at Firstsource Solutions full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good immediate supervisors
    Thorough training
    Positive work environment
Easy work if you're in the right department for you
Seemed to be trying to give more incentives to stick around

I worked in the billing department for Kaiser Permanente. Immediate supervisors were for the most part very helpful and kind. The company hires team leads from within so most of them had been in your situation before and even take calls themselves. There is a strong sense of camaraderie among coworkers and immediate supervisors so stresses caused by unexpected upper management changes were easier to deal with. I struggled with anxiety at the time and my immediate supervisors were exceptionally supportive and understanding which was unexpected. So long as you work hard and follow procedures properly, you could expect an easy time. Expect reward systems like contests based on call success. And lots of potlucks. There's an exceptional local barbecue business that was available in the breakroom once a week.

    Cons

    Disorganized upper management
You may be moved between teams or departments unexpectedly
    Mediocre pay
Can be boring if you have low call volume
Some employees were not very hard-working

Immediate supervisors seemed poorly paid despite a lot of work stress so they would sometimes quit unexpectedly.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of the immediate supervisors. They worked hard and didn't seem well rewarded for it. Treat employee requests with more respect so they are more likely to stay with the company.

    Pros

great coworkers and direct management, solid training

    Cons

call centers, at least in the US are constantly under threat of closure or loss of contract. Don't make long term plans, unless you are beyond entry level (even then it's dicey). You're probably going to get laid off.

    Advice to Management

avoid adversarial relationships with team leaders.

    Pros

Company tried to make the office fun and would have themed parties or contests

    Cons

Too much work and unrealistic deadlines. Management was a joke. You could never go to a manager if you felt stuck without it being blamed on you No advancement opportunities unless your in the club

    Advice to Management

Take a look at your managers and realize why you can’t keep hard work staff more then a year or 2

    Pros

    Casual wear
    Coworkers are friendly
    Monster Energy drink machine
    Indoor plumbing

    Cons

They will tell you one thing and you will be hired for another position, they tell you one wage and pay you another.
They are highly disorganized and take weeks to hire you.
They share other employee information with you inadvertently.
    The pay is too low.
Long-term employees and managers have left a skeleton crew. You will be sent home from work two days and be asked to work overtime the other days, but it is not really overtime, it is just making up your lost hours.
    Quality of life non existent

    Advice to Management

There is no advice for what does not exist.
