Pros

As a privately run, family business, Freeman has been around for almost 100 years and, as the top company in the live event space, has proven itself to be resilient. It celebrates its employees who are close to where the events are supported.

Cons

With all the growth and need for transforming the company to continue to provide excellent service, it has come at a cost to many of its corporate employees who have worked tirelessly to be part of the digital transformation to then be shown the door as new management has been brought in.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
