Pros

Great people who majority work really hard

Cons

Freeman has way too much politics. They have too much self-interests and agendas that run ahead of business goals. Management is ready sacrifice success in order to look good or to maintain control. Management doesn’t stand up for their employees. Loyalty, talent and and hard work are not appreciated. Honesty and integrity are punished. False promises to get someone to do something to accept a job or a responsibility. Obedience is preferred to loyalty. Misrepresenting own accomplishment to make oneself look better at expense of others. Taking credit for other people's successful work, and "crediting" them when their efforts fail.

Freeman Response

There has been a lot of change within our company over the past couple of years, and while I know we are heading in the right direction, sometimes we feel the growing pains that come with change. The reason we have been so successful over our 90 year history is because of the amazing people who work for us. We have recently added a Chief Growth Officer position, and I encourage you to engage in a candid, open dialog with her as she addresses the gaps and evolves the growth function over the next year.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
