Pros

Good work environment. Great office location (for me). The manager is solid and has a lot of trust for the team. The team that I work with is supportive and we have a great mini-culture within our group. I always feel like I am useful and contributing. I feel heard. My manager asks for my opinion and thoughts on different issues. I appreciate that. Variety of hot lunch options from different vendors (available for purchase). Flex hours are available (available after probationary period). Work from Home is available (after a probationary period). The medical/dental/vision benefits are some of the best I have ever had. The division I work for has a great work/life balance. There is an on-site gym. The building has covered parking. There is a childcare center downstairs (it is not included in Freeman's benefits, but it is convenient to have). All in all, I feel very good about my decision to join this company.

Cons

The company is doing some internal transitioning and there seems to be some tension in certain departments. It doesn't affect my team directly, in regard to our morale, but it can be felt from time to time. The team that I am with is building new processes. It'll be great when those are in place. It hasn't seemed to hinder our progress, though! If you are married, the only way your spouse is eligible to join your medical/dental/vision benefits plan is if their current employer does not provide insurance. This doesn't apply to me, but it is kind of an odd policy.

Good people, good culture, flexible hybrid schedule

It’s hard to come up with any. Pay is lower than many companies.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
