Pros

Few to no phone calls or work requests after hours.

Cons

Too many IT systems, many of them legacy systems, and no central location for all data. Management more concerned about themselves than promoting knowledge and increased responsibility among employees. High school culture at branch offices. HR biased on the side of management, and didn't really work to resolve true issues. Smoking was allowed at the front of the office building where staff and clients enter. General feeling of "cliques" between different departments. "Boys club" of management, with outings at baseball fields and golf clubs, and then it was frowned upon if you didn't want to partake in these events.

Pros

Work life balance can be good at times and then it could be horrible. Opportunity for career advancement is there if you wait it

Cons

Salary is not great considering the amount of work we do, plus salaried positions do not make any OT money when we have very long weeks working on show site. Yearly annual raise is 3% which is nothing. The only significant raise you can get is if you get promoted to a more senior role. Also the traveling becomes brutal when you are gone for 10 or more days at a time for these shows.
