Pros

They pay for your flight and hotel while In training

Cons

The program is not consistent. Me and two other people were supposed to be sent home over failing a test. They made us line up while all the other trainees walked around us I think it was meant to be embarrassing but I honestly didn't care. The worst thing was that this woman who will not be named walked us into the room and then pulled one of us aside and told him because he was traveling to newyork special arrangements needed to be made when actually they decided to keep him even though he failed and had no retakes left. I asked why he was allowed back in they told me because they graded his test wrong. Well little did they know this guy blabbed to some fellow trainnees that he was allowed to stay I won't say the full reason because I don't want him to suffer consequences but his test was graded correctly and he should have been sent home.

Pros

Mainline carrier. Much smaller than the big 3 legacy carriers, so gaining seniority is much quicker. Good “starter” airline, rather than starting at a regional.

Cons

Frontier is owned by an investment company, which is completely out of touch with the frontline. The company in recent years, concocted a “Culture of Caring” catchphrase they constantly use - when everything about their culture, in reality, demonstrates the complete opposite. They shifted their business model to out/back to save themselves money, on the backs of FA’s, resulting in significantly decreased pay and essentially changed it to a day job - without the day job pay for every hour on the clock.
