GLG’s compliance framework is the gold standard in the industry. For many clients, our compliance program and systems are among the main reasons they choose to do business with us and not our competitors. It’s a core component of our culture.
The same is true for diversity at GLG. GLG’s seven Diversity Networks include more than 600 employees around the world. The Human Rights Campaign has awarded GLG as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ+ Equality” for the past two years. In 2021, our Chief Diversity Officer Desiree Dancy was named one of the top 100 Diversity Officers in the U.S. by the National Diversity Council. We’ve also made significant progress in terms of hiring, making sure our recruiters have additional resources and better access to diverse talent pools.
We are troubled to read about the insensitive comments described in your post. This is the first we’re hearing of it. Under no circumstances does GLG tolerate that behavior. We have numerous escalation points whereby employees can report such conduct. And we encourage you to contact our People Team members so we can properly investigate.
