Pros

Telecommuting and superior management team under a CGL grocery chain TPA that allows one to develop their interpersonal relationship building expertise as necessary to appease the client and claimant not just resolve the damage claim. The claimant is also a patron of the store in most cases.

Cons

Not enough examiners on each team leading to mandatory long hours to manage the heavy case load. It is an exempt position so no overtime.

Work from home, some decent co workers

Was brought on from AP merge and sorely missing the culture and my old job. Gallagher uses extremely Complex systems with minimal training, yes they train.. but if you ask questions they treat you like youre incompetent. Make sure you’re an expert in 30 days or else you’re not living up to expectations. Burnout culture is the norm. You are truly a “cog in the wheel” like they say within their values. Worst job I have ever worked, not good for mental health.
