      Higher pay than avg. Surrounded by good researchers. Strong virology.

      Cons

      Promotion cycle stalled. Good people are leaving. New hires are based on if they are from amgen, than anything else. Onc and inflam haven't shown much promising outcome since the new EVP joined. A lot of resources and effort lead to nothing due to poor leadership decisions.

      Great company to work with away from the main headquarters located in Foster City. Lots of learning opportunities and a good culture to make it so you enjoyed working with your colleagues.

      Cons

      Management reviews and process for promotions seem a bit skewed. It seemed to fall on how well your own management could "sell" you to the other team's management.
