Pros

Strong MNC backing after Hitachi integration, which adds brand value and stability compared to smaller service companies. Good employee benefits in many offices: Free/subsidized food Cab/transport facilities Health insurance and wellness support Good office infrastructure Generally considered to have a decent work culture and supportive work environment in many teams. Focus on diversity and inclusion: Promotes gender equality LGBTQ+ inclusive policies Facilities and support for employees with disabilities Exposure to international clients and global projects. Good learning opportunities for freshers and early-career employees. Better work-life balance than some high-pressure IT service companies, depending on the project. Hitachi association may help long-term career credibility on resume.

Cons

Job security depends heavily on the project/process. If a project ends or client budget reduces, employees may face bench pressure or layoffs. Salary budgets are often considered low compared to product-based companies. Hikes and promotions can be slower than expected. Experience varies significantly between teams and managers. Some employees report limited growth in non-critical projects. Bench period anxiety can be stressful. Internal politics and management quality can differ from project to project. Work can become repetitive in support/service-oriented roles. During market slowdowns, cost-cutting and restructuring risks increase like in many IT service companies.

Pros

Offered remote work. Other than that, nothing.

Cons

Incredibly disorganized from onboarding to the recent mass layoffs of both contractors and full-time employees. The culture within the project I worked on was prone to toxic corporate politics, and the guidelines for the work performed were often vague and shifting. I can only assume this is indicative of the larger environment Gobal Logic cultivates, but it's hard to tell as their website includes nothing but word salad around what they actually do or the services they provide. Leadership constantly changed the goalpost meaning no one could truly learn or succeed. The airplane was being built as it was being flown, essentially. New tools were consistently introduced and then changed when it was found they were ineffective and the client was not being given the results they demanded. It almost felt at times as if the project was being internally sabotaged, though I'm not sure what the benefit of that would be. While not a scam, there is no hope of upward mobility, and you can be let go at a moment's notice. The instability and culture of fear they create is absolutely intentional, and you'd be better off working elsewhere for the sake of your mental health. I don't foresee this company having any tangible longevity given how poorly it's run.
