Pros

Excellent pay, employers are cared about and listened to, plenty of training, employees' needs are considered, constantly finding ways to make improvements. I am a case manager for the Working Solutions program in Idaho that is being taken over by Maximus in 2 days. In my experience, we had far more to offer, being a nonprofit organization that put funds right back into the program instead into the pockets of executives. Goodwill also was the first company to give me a chance regardless to some trouble I got into when I was young. They are also very good at recognizing people's accomplishments on a regular basis and keeping morale up.

Cons

Communication between different Goodwill programs is not that great but it is something that is being worked on. We had our first ice cream social last week in which we met with other programs via teleconference.

Pros

Having a set schedule every week with 2 days off in a row Goodwill scholarship program is fantastic lots of career advice and support giving back to the community

Cons

Working weekends, nights, and holidays The customers are so rude Management says one thing but then caves to the customers which undermines the employees so many exchanges the clientele rude people the customers
