Pros
I loved working with our clients and doing taxes, but management was in shambles
Cons
They don't treat their employees right. They're constantly adding sales to the job and compensation is low for all the extras that they want tax pros to perform. And then if you don't make quotas for the tax season, then when the new season starts they cut your pay. I left after I was cut down after missing my quota from 9.50 hr to 7.50 an hour. I refused to do all the work they expected out of me for minimum wage. I had worked for H&R block for 4 years. Now I'm happily just doing taxes for another firm during tax season and well compensated for my ability and not having to be a salesperson at the same time.
