Pros

Very flexible hours Very easy and short training Bonus incentive check twice a year Company wide raises Easy to avoid co-workers

Cons

Lack of respect for employees (My Customer Service manager seriously rolls her eyes at our employees..are you kidding me?) No support. You won't hear "Good job!" or anything like it. Overworked, underpaid. As a cashier you're forced to do so much because the baggers tend to just hang around outside, it's like working two jobs. On top of that, your hours get cut all the time unless you tell them you can work whenever their heart desires you to. Too many teenage co-workers that just don't care. Sure, you're working at a grocery store, but at least have respect because they're paying you. Pretty much a one-bill job. You can afford one bill with it and that's it. If you want to change departments or possibly learn something new, don't expect to.
